Designs by Koonce FTP site

This Web Site was created for Designs by Koonce (DBK) clients in order to give them the capability to transfer large files from their computer using a Web Browser to either Upload or Download the files to Designs by Koonce. I recommend MS Enternet Explorer. It is the most common. It also allows you to go to a Folders view to transfer files by clicking on the Folders icon on the toolbar.

Follow the proccedure below:

For IE7 or IE8:

Copy ftp://ftp.dbkftp.com into the address field of your browser. This will launch your Internet Browser (Recommend IE) and a Login and Password dialog box will appear.
Type in the Login and Password that DBK will e-mail to you separately. This is for security purposes.
A page labeled "FTP root at ftp.dbkftp.com" is displayed. Then says "To view this FTP site in Windows Explorer, click Page (on menu Bar), and then click "Open FTP site in Windows Explorer."
Re-enter password.
Click the Folders icon on the IE toolbar. This will show you all the files on your computer plus any files and folders on the site.
If you are Getting Files I have posted just click the + next to the FTP site and I normally put the files in a folder labeled with the clients name. Then drag and drop the folder/files where you want to store the files on your computer.
If you are Sending me Files. Login to the site the same way as before. Click on the ftp site name and create a folder to put the files in. Then drag and drop your files on your computer to that newly created folder on the site.
Send me an e-mail saying you have posted files for me to retrieve. I will go get them then delete them off the ftp site.
Note: this process could take a while depending on the total size of the files. The file transfer rate is around 1 minute/meg. Example: (10) files totaling (10) meg would take 10 minutes.
